Focus and window (re)size

Hiya,

I have two questions I hope some of you will be able to answer.

Is there an easy way for a widget to keep focus, all the time? That is
if you click on a button somewhere, the focus should return to the text
entry right away.

When I set the usize of a window I can't make the window smaller in one
of the x or y direction. Is there another function to set the size of a
window that will allow making the window smaller?
