Shawn, it would help me greatly if you could say in these announcements
if there is binary compatibility breakage in the new version.

Since GLib 1.1.14 had a soname of .13, will GLib 1.1.15 as well? This
will save me several hours of building time if you can say, in the
GLib and GTK+ releases, what the soname is..
