Looking for Widget

Hello

I'm looking for widget similar in function to the "wheel" used for
adjusting the view in OpenInventor, which is close to the scale
widget, but does is in some sense have a infinite range. I don't 
want to reinvent the wheel (sic) so I'm wondering if someone has done
something like this, otherwise I'll probably try to cook something up
myself.
