Makoto Kato and I are currently doing some work with ascp (AfterStep
Window Manager: http://hubble.colorado.edu/~nwanua/html/ascp.html)
and Japanese.
Makoto's webpage is: http://www.vector.co.jp/authors/VA008030/ and he
can be reached: m_kato at ga2 dot so-net dot ne dot jp
Nwanua is: nwanua at colorado dot edu
The "hubble" website features a simple example of Japanese text in a Gtk+
app.
Please feel free to contact us, and join the band: I'm looking for
people to write labels and messages in various languages.
Cheers,
Nwanua.
