dotfiles in file selection dialogue

Hello.
GtkFileSelection does not show dotfiles (or dotdirs). I can't find any
function definitions in gtkfilesel.h that hint at what I might do if I
want GtkFileSelection to show hidden files and directories. Any
suggestions?
