I beg to differ. The ghostscript interpretter is rather large (by
necessity, I might add -- Postscript isn't easy!). I also notice it's
significantly buggy when it comes to color postscript. I used to have a
collection of Postscript files which Ghost* simply couldn't read, yet
printed perfectly on an HP LaserJet 5 in the office.

I'd rather use DVI or Metafont instead of Postscript myself, but still...
I'll look into apsfilter, but I still think a "native" solution would be
ideal.
