Sorry for being dense, but could anybody clarify this a bit? I've gone to
the
CVS server but I'm not quite sure what to update. I see a few orbit files
floating
around, but don't quite know what to donwload in order to upgrade orbit
(there
doesn't seem to be a gnome-orbit package) . The latest ORBit RPM is the one
I have installed, so I have to go with sources:
`cvs status` returns the followig orbit files (all of which seem support
files but not
orbit itself):
File: gnome-orbit-check.m4 Status: Up-to-date
Repository revision: 1.6
/cvs/gnome/gnome-common/macros/gnome-orbit-check
.m4,v
File: gnome-orbit-check.m4 Status: Up-to-date
Repository revision: 1.6
/cvs/gnome/gnome-common/macros/gnome-orbit-check
.m4,v
File: orbit-applet-lib.c Status: Up-to-date
Repository revision: 1.20
/cvs/gnome/gnome-core/panel/orbit-applet-lib.c,v
File: orbit-glue.c Status: Up-to-date
Repository revision: 1.10 /cvs/gnome/gnome-core/panel/orbit-glue.c,v
File: orbit-glue.h Status: Up-to-date
Repository revision: 1.3 /cvs/gnome/gnome-core/panel/orbit-glue.h,v
File: orbitgtk.c Status: Up-to-date
Repository revision: 1.27
/cvs/gnome/gnome-libs/libgnorba/orbitgtk.c,v
File: gnome-orbit-check.m4 Status: Up-to-date
Repository revision: 1.6
/cvs/gnome/gnome-common/macros/gnome-orbit-check
.m4,v
File: gnome-orbit-check.m4 Status: Up-to-date
Repository revision: 1.6
/cvs/gnome/gnome-common/macros/gnome-orbit-check
.m4,v
File: gnome-orbit-check.m4 Status: Up-to-date

/cvs/gnome/gnome-common/macros/gnome-orbit-check

What do I need to download to upgrade orbit?
Thanks a lot

this configure error is because of orbit-config returns the standard Usage
text when it is invoked by gnome's m4 files. To fix it, upgrade orbit.
(namely, gnome-orbit-check.m4 does command
orbit-config --use-service=name --libs client server
and it should work properly...)
