    :-( x 1000, but I will pass on this 'moving upgrade' as I have a
    low bandwidth connection and here local calls are also paid by the
    minute :(

    Maybe the GTK organization can raise some development funds by
    selling the whole GTK on CD, or ZipDisk (hope to get one of those
    after I get a new modem :)

PS. I found that gtk_events_pending() was actually a GDK function!
    thus gdk_events_pending() so there goes another 'bad pointer' in
    the GTK FAQ document.
