Graph Widget

Hello,

Having seen the evolution of GTK I have to admit that it is a robust tool for
constructing user interfaces
and portable X applications. I was wondering if someone could easily (?)
construct a graph widget.

 Input to that widget might be:
                    the list of vertices
                    the list of edges linking some of the vertices.

An underlying problem is the achievement of  a "good" graph visualization (This
problem has been
extensively examined and source codes are public available).

I think that the automatic creation of a graph will be a great addition to GTK
capabilities.
