It is also not possible to set it so that -destroy does the stuffd you would
want delete_event to activate.  This is because in [object connectObj::] a
call to "destroy" is automatically renamed "free" so, unless you want to
change the actions that free does (not what I would like to do!!) you cannot
catch the window being destroyed and ask any questions.
