Style Questions

How can I change the default colors in a style for a particular
widget??

I'd still like to be able to override the programs colors using an RC
file.

I've tried assigning new values to the coler values in the
style->bg[state] and I get seg faults when I exit my program.  Also, I
think I'm overriding the RC file.
