Hello,
How can I run a gtk program on a server without MIT-SHM extension?
My current setup is to use a win95 workstation while doing all the
development work on a displayless linux box using x-term.
imho, one big advantage of X is its network independence, so I assume
that gtk can also make use of it (except where absolutely required,
as in gimp).
I'm new to this list, so excuse me if this has been answered already.
A brief search in FAQ gave me nothing.
Hannu
