Clearing a GTK_COMBO widget

Hello people,

	does anyone know how to clear the contents of a GTK_COMBO widget, I
just can't work it out.  It would be nice if all these types of objects,
as well as the option_menu thing had a _clear function to remove all the
contents, so we can start from scratch.

I am trying to make a option_menu widget control the contents of a
GTK_COMBO box.  I can set a new data set, but I want to be able to set
it to NULL, or something, to clear the list.

I would greatly apreciate any help.  Thanks...
