GDK documentation ?

Hi there!

New to GTK and GDK, everyone must live this stage ...

Anyway, I´m trying to start with GDK (drawing lines and
so, not a business for the experts here) but I´m hitting
a wall trying to find any documentation.

So, does it exist for GDK something similar to the GTK
tutorial ?

The one by Peter Mattis at
http://www.gimp.org/gtk/docs/gdk_toc.html is far from
being finished ...
