gimp and gtk+ rpm's

There are gimp-0.99.17 rpm's available on ftp.redhat.com in
/pub/contrib/hurricane, for users of redhat 5, or potentially other
systems that are using glibc 2. You can't really use it yet, though,
because the old gtk+ numbering scheme is interfering with the newer gtk+
packages being accepted.  I haven't received a response from
webmaster@redhat.com yet, but in the mean time the gimp rpm's may be of
some use.
