CList question.

Hi!
I was looking at the testgtk to see how to deal with clist. I might be
dumb a bit but I do not exactly understand what is it I should put as
a second argument to gtk_clist_append()? Is it just an array of
strings, each of which goes to columns?

Why does one have to gtk_clist_freeze() before appending?
