At last it works,

So for those that are of that will be in the same trouble, the command is 
for a standard redhat 5.0 system on a i386 machine (a cyrix exactly):

g++  -I/usr/local/include/ -L/usr/X11R6/lib/ -o $1 $1'.cc' -lgtkmm -lgtk
-lgdk -lglib -lXext -lX11 -lm

and I have added this line in my .bash_profile

LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib
