I like cutting large parts of the mail I reply to, but it seems that
sometimes it's a bad idea :(
Unfortunatly I deleted Owen's previous message and it's not (yet)
in the archive list.
But it was clearly stated that reparenting a widget was unrealizing
it and then rerealizing it.
This *is* the problem.
