help: Is gdk_pixmap_destroy gone?

Hi

I've read the gtk-tutorial and there I see a function called
gdk_pixmap_destroy().
However neither me nor my compiler can find the prototype in any .h-file.
I'm using debian with libgtk-dev v 1.0.4.

Is my lib too old, or is the function depricated? (Or am I just blind?)
It seems to be a fundamental function so I think it ought to be in my
version of gtk/gdk.

Is there some other function I should use to release the resources
asociated with the GdkPixmap?

I hope someone has the time to help me.
