what could cause this?

with 1.1.9 i *sometimes* get the following error

Loading Theme /usr/test/lib/gtk/themes/engines/libpixmap.so
IMLIB ERROR: SHM can't get SHM Identifier for Shared XImage
             Falling back on XImages


i've only seen if happen with one app (i've only used 4-5 
apps with 1.1.9). any clues on what could be causing this?
