ANNOUNCE: GTK+ 1.1.9 Released

GTK+ 1.1.9 is now at: ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk/v1.1/.
    
The 1.1.x releases of GTK+ are DEVELOPMENT RELEASES, and as such
there are usually large changes between releases.  You should not
expect 1.1.x series to be stable, since the focus is on enhanced
features.  You can find a stable version of GTK+ at
ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk/v1.0/.

A list of incompatible changes with GTK+ 1.0 can be found at
http://www.gtk.org/gtk+-1.2-Changes.html.  Read this to adapt
your code.

What is new in GTK+ 1.1.9:

* Check for broken glibc 2.0 mb functions and avoid them
* Label and Entry display fixes 
* Move main thread back to GDK, for locking when translating events
* Bug fixes
