gtk and gtk+ are the same thing. gtk+ is just sometimes called gtk. gtk+10
is the name used on an rpm (v1.0.6) so that you can have both gtk 1.0.6
and 1.1.x installed at the same time. 1.0.6's tag is gtk+10 and 1.1.x's
would be gtk+. gtk-- is a C++ wrapper for gtk+ (which is written entirely
in C).
