Gtk+-1.1.5 and GNOME

Hi,

I don't really understand how this list work. In the last week i've posted
two messages i' sure experienced people with linux/gtk/gnome can answer but
i had absolutly no answer.

I am beginer with the unix world/linux and i would need some help.

So I try again :

Can someone explain how to make GNOME work once gtk+-1.1.5 has been
installed, knowing than GNOME was working before with a previous version of
gtk (1.0.something).
