I have trouble with "make install" for GTK... It compiles without
problems, but it just wont install... I can manually cp the libs and
headers, but I would like to determine the cause of the problem. I'm
running Linux 2.0.30 with glibc 2.0.5, gcc 2.7.2.3, make 3.76.1, gnu ld
2.8.1.0.1, ldd 1.9.5. The error follows...
[by-tor@by-tor:~/gtk+$]: make install
Making install in glib
make[1]: Entering directory `/home/by-tor/gtk+/glib'
make[1]: *** [install-libLTLIBRARIES] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/by-tor/gtk+/glib'
make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1
Anyone seen this before? If you need more information, just ask!
