emacs is just a *litle* bit too big [:)]for my purposes, basically I'm
going to need an editor with few, but specific functions. Whilst I'm sure
(nay, positive) that it would be possible to customize emacs to that end,
I really think it would be better written in gtk, building upon the text
widget. I just don't want to get to involved only for someone to announce
an amazing new "gtk_text_editor_frame", with which i need only one
function call and a few incations involving frogs with which to write it.
Sorry I'm not being very specific about my app, but it could form the
basis of my 33rd year cs project, and I don't wan't it to be unleashed
just yet..
