Announcing the FSU Special Interest Group on
Human-Computer Interaction(HCI), FSU SIG-HCI

In the time between this post and August 15th, 1997 the Free
Software Union will be activating its Special Interest Group
on Human-Computer Interaction (SIG-HCI).  This group is meant
as a central forum for all people in the Free Software community
who want to discuss systems dealing primarily with Human Computer
Interaction, and as a host for new and existing HCI related
projects.

Topics in the scope of FSU SIG-HCI include:
- Traditional Graphical User Interfaces(GUIs),
  such as toolkits and GUI application development frameworks. 
- Experimental user interfaces and applied HCI research. 
- Speach regonition and pen-based text input methods. 
- HCI systems supporting handicapped people. 
- Applications of 3-d input devices and Virtual Reality(VR) systems.
