Problems using Pango with GTK on DirectFB

Hi Everybody
I have installed GTK with DirectFB support. I compiled one of the test programs 
in gtk source tree. Everything is ok, except that there is no visible text for the
widgets.
The following messages reported:

(progressbar:13706): Pango-WARNING **: No builtin or dynamically
loaded modules were found. Pango will not work correctly.
This probably means there was an error in the creation of:
  '/usr/local/etc/pango/pango.modules'
You should create this file by running pango-querymodules.

(progressbar:13706): Pango-WARNING **: pango_shape called with bad font, expect ugly output

(progressbar:13706): Pango-WARNING **: pango_font_get_glyph_extents called with bad font, expect ugly output

(progressbar:13706): Gdk-DirectFB-WARNING **: gdk_window_set_keep_above() not implemented.


(progressbar:13706): Gdk-DirectFB-WARNING **: gdk_window_set_keep_below() not implemented.


(progressbar:13706): Pango-CRITICAL **: pango_cairo_show_glyph_string: assertion `PANGO_IS_CAIRO_FONT (font)' failed

I have attached a snapshot of the running program.
Any ideas?
