It seems that Mandombe is a *script* of fairly recent origin designed
for writing several central African languages. Until this script is
encoded in the Unicode standard it may be difficult to get OpenType
shaping engines like Pango to properly support it.
If Mfumu Kibatvuidi Nsiangani Ne Nlaza wants to see the Mandombe script,
and languages written in this script, properly supported - IMO the first
thing that needs doing is submitting a proposal to WG2 for encoding the
Mandombe script in the iso 10646 & Unicode standards.
