Firefox issue. GTK+ has sophisticated code to get this right, but
Firefox doesn't use GTK+ as a widget toolkit, just as a rendering
engine.

I'm not sure if FireFox is upstream or downstream. :-) But go ahead, and
bother them. If they want to be a first-class desktop component, they
need to do as well as the native toolkit for such things.
