Hello,
I'm not quite sure about this but isn't it something that one can resolve by
supplying the following option to the SUNWspro C compiler (if you meant
that compiler)??
-xCC Accept C++ style comments
With regards,
Ienup

] Pango 1.0.1 won't compile using the factory compiler on Solaris 7 (or "our
] installation of sol7", anyway) because of an "issue" in
] modules/basic/tables-big.i. It chokes on the comment on line 166,
] "ENC_KSC_5601, // 106". If the comment is removed it compiles and runs
] fine. It really seems like this shouldn't be a problem, but what can we
] say about closed-source compilers! :) :)
]
] Hope this helps!
