Currently I have difficult problem in developing
application using chinese anti-alias fonts on gtk+ 2
Can we use arphic big5 fonts on pango? I find that the application works
ok when GDK_USE_XFT is unset, but not chinese fonts can be shown when it
is set to 1.
$ xlsfonts |grep big5
...
-default-ming-medium-r-normal--10-100-72-72-p-100-big5-0
-default-ming-medium-r-normal--12-120-72-72-p-120-big5-0
-default-ming-medium-r-normal--14-140-72-72-p-140-big5-0
-default-ming-medium-r-normal--16-160-72-72-p-160-big5-0
-default-ming-medium-r-normal--18-180-72-72-p-180-big5-0
-default-ming-medium-r-normal--20-200-72-72-p-200-big5-0
...
even i have add the font into pangox.alias:
-default-ming-medium-r-normal--*-*-*-*-*-*-big5-0
I have dig though many materials online, but they can't help much. I
wish we can put more materials on this, particularly on chinese fonts.
