XftConfig is used by PangoXft (the X antialiased fonts version), but not
PangoX (the X core fonts version).

No. This is a core X fontname. You only need the family name from the
font. What i normally do is start the font-selector in testgtk and look
for the name of the font there, but there is probably a better way :)
