No. I've seen it in guide-books (explaining what to say in what 
situation).
For example, the 2nd person pronoun ends with -a ( Fatha ) in the 
masculine form, the feminine with -i ( Kasra ).
So, depending on the gender of the person you are talking to,
you pick out the corresponding forms out of the book
( the authors having saved space , because the sentence is the same ,
  aside from a few differing vowels ).
