This seems reasonable when one has columns of text which might become
too narrow to even do any reasonable hyphenation.
( One caveat for the shapers exists for this: If one cuts a word in two thus|
|ly, one might want to add appropriate zero-width joiners
to the string passed to the shaper ( to get the intermediate shapes
instead of loose letters ). )
