Request XIM and GTK+ sample!

Dear Sir,

    Can you give me an example (with make files everything) that does the
following:

1) A GTK+ program with just one GTKEntry that can accept string from
    XIM server.
2) A XIM server program that does this:
    When I press key "a", I can see XIM server output a string "apple" to
the  GTKEntry
    When I press key "b", I can see XIM server ouptut a string "banana" to
the GTKEntry
    When I press other keys, they should work as normal (as if XIM is not
there).
3) It works with RedHat 6.2, Kernel 2.2.14 and GTK 1.2.6?
4) XIM server ONLY sends to the widget that has the keyboard
focus???????????

    I have been searching this for more than 3 months but still don't know
how to!!!!
    Can you please kindly tell me how to do this?
