machine depn. showing chn Char

I have a gtk application showing GB2321 in gtk widget. This showing is machine dependent:
We installed Turbo linux to 3 dell PC. Same application shows in right font size on two, but big 
size on 3rd one (same char).

I checked rpm list on these 3 machines and found almost no difference.
Dose anyone know what's wrong with it? how to correct it?

And dose the font issue alse related to XFree86 server (videa card)?
