GScript shows blank screen

[SWAPS <swaps netscape net>]

I have downloaded and compiled GScript-0.4 from the GScript webpage on my
Mandrake 6.0 box. The compilation goes fine but when I run it using the
command "gscript-viewer HELLO.UTF8" I get a blank window without any
characters or any response. Has anybody else encountered this problem ?
