Gtk and Xkbd extension?

Hello!

How to force gtk+ to handle xkbd keyboard extension properly?
When I use tricky xmodmap, it works.
My LANG=pl_PL
xterm works with xkbd

I've found thread in archive containing this
question ("8-bit input...") but i could't find any solution there.
