Already done, as of several weeks ago. Make a ~/.gtkrc.ru
(or even ~/.gtkrc.ru_RU.koi8 file)
Alternatively (or additionally), if you used a fontset instead of a
font - i.e -
fontset = "-*-fixed-medium-r-normal--16-*-*-*-*-*-*-*"
or:
fontset = "my-koi8-font, my-iso-8859-1-font"
then X will automatically determine which font it needs
to use.
