By "it builds all the docs for you" you mean that the auto-tools build the docs when you compile the software?

The Authors page http://developer.gnome.org/arch/doc/authors.html  confused me... once I've managed to put together something coherent I'll make a revision of that too.

You do edit the, <MODULE>-sections.txt and tmpl/* files as you say
though.
