How to print a drawing area widget (to a printer).

Hi Everybody,

 

                      I would like to know whether it is possible to print a picture present in the drawing area widget to a printer (Serial).

 

                      I drew the pictures present in the drawing area widget using Gtk draw functions. It will be very helpfull if anybody help me with some example programs. Help me know the idea behind this.
