Bug 79285: Session Management support

Hello:

I was just browsing the GTK+ 2.6 plan document and came across this:  
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=79285.  I'm curious, is 
anyone actively developing a solution?  If so, this is an area of 
interest for me, and I have long been searching for a way to contribute 
to the project.

Though I am young, I am not completely without experience.  Recently, I 
have implemented a crude solution to this problem (restoring window 
state/paned state/current URL across sessions) as a final project for 
one of my classes.
