GTK2 on Tru64

Hi.

All the mentioned packages are SRPMS from the RH Rawhide.
Succesfully build gtk2-2.2.4-5.2.
It has switch --disable-xft.

Version gtk2-2.3.2-2:
  freetype-2.1.7-1
  fontconfig-2.2.1-6.1
  libiconv-1.9.2-0
  gettext-0.13.1-1
  glib2-2.3.2-1
  pango-1.3.2-2
  atk-1.5.2-1
and with
  gdkdrawable-x11.c
  gdkdrawable-x11.h
  gdkgc-x11.c
  gdkpango-x11.c
  gdkpixmap-x11.c
  gdkprivate-x11.h
from gtk2-2.2.4-5.2 and some patching, this version works too.
But it was pain in ...
All test works.

If i understand properly XFT is part of the XFree86 and Xserver should
have Xrender extension.
On the Tru64, we don't have either.
I like to have XFT, but how?

Will in the future Gtk2 support only xft?
Will you put us, non Linux, non Intel people out in the cold? :-(
I beg you, please put back the --disable-xft feature.
