It's not hard to make column operations accessible. A keynav spec has
existed all along for resizing and reordering columns (although Jonathan
hasn't implemented it... yet :). For the column visibility part, just
make sure the column headers' right-click menu (which should be
accessible in the usual way, Shift-F10) includes a list of all the
available columns, ideally in a standard sub-menu, as checkbox menu
items.
Voila-- provided you can also re-order the columns by drag and drop, you
have a fully accessible solution with no messy extra dialogs :)
