Isn't the file selector stuff still blocked on getting interface
properties into gobject ?

I've just attached an Xcursor-based implementation to the bug and would 
appreciate some feedback on it.

I believe that if we don't declare the things we have now as ready to
merge and start actually merging them, we will be at exactly the same
point in two weeks.

Agreed. Lets merge what we have now and get 2.4 done in time.
