Assuming, of course, that we are going to stick to the two pane model
a.l.a MacOS and not switch to a single pane one like KDE, QT, Windows,
OpenOffice, etc. Does the current file selector make such assumption
about the GUI ? If not, then we'll need a couple of properties to
hide/show "branch" (e.g. directory) and "leaf" (e.f. file) elements. In
any case, it shouldn't be very tough to do I guess.
