Currently, GtkStatusbar permits and has by default a resize grip.
Unfortunately, I've seen programs that reimplement statusbars and do not
provide the grip even though there is space and the window is resizable.
Resize grips for other systems are not used exclusively on statusbars.
On Windows they may be seen on some dialogs and property sheets.
On MacOS they may be seen on dialogs and at the meeting corner of scrollbars.
Would it be wise to make the resize grip part of GtkWindow or to allow for
one in GtkDialog or GtkScrolledWindow so that it may in most cases be provided?
Leaving this to the window manager would be a problem for applications that
use this space for something else and might be unsightly.
Cheers,
Greg Merchan
