I know, I didn't been to criticize the valuable work of the Gtk+ team.
And in any case, everyone can make mistakes.

Agreed. Fortunately as I said, there are not too many changes made on io-gif.c
between 2.0.6 and 2.0.7, so the source of the problem should not be too hard
to locate hopefully.
