There are two ways to solve aggressive schedule problems:
- Make longer schedules
- Take smaller steps
I think we have a good base to build upon in small steps at this point -
Perhaps trying to do filesel, combo, and menu api changes in a 6 month
release cycle is too much, but then the right answer may well be
to drop one of the items and do it for 2.6.
(Maybe the right timescale is 9 months, not 6 months. But it's clearly
not 3 years.)
