Personally I wouldn't object to this... It's always easier to just throw
more computer resources (RAM & cache footprint, in this case) at a problem
than bear the costs of developers & users bashing their heads against a wall
to find a solution... (if you ask me, one of the biggest holes in the wall
in my server room is due to shared library versioning snafus and ABI
breakages)...
